Save the date to attend Kindergarten Roundup with your child. Please join us for one of our 90-minute Kindergarten Roundup sessions. Select from the morning session at 10:00 AM or the afternoon session at 1:00 PM.
- We are delighted to welcome you and your children to the St. Margaret Mary Parish Raynor Center on Friday, January 29, 2027.
- Parents will meet Kindergarten teachers, hear from the School Principal and Pastor, and learn about the kindergarten program and the school community.
- Children will take part in a classroom experience and visit each of the Kindergarten classrooms for an activity, a craft, and storytime!
- At Roundup, Parents will receive the next steps for enrollment
- Enrollment through FACTS begins on February 1. Priority for admission will be given to those who attend Kindergarten Roundup.

- There is NO waitlist for Kindergarten at this time. A waitlist will develop only if more families want to enroll than space allows for enrollment. We will provide all enrollment and admission information in January at the Kindergarten Roundup.

What is the age cut-off for kindergarten enrollment?
St. Margaret Mary School follows the guidelines set forth by the state of Nebraska for admission to kindergarten being open to children who "have reached the age of five years on or before July 31 of the calendar year in which the school year for which the child is seeking admission."
Children who turn 5 after the July 31st cut-off date will be evaluated for admission on a case-by-case basis if the Kindergarten class capacity has not been reached.
What are the Next Steps for Enrollment?
After Kindergarten Roundup, parents will receive email instructions from SMM School for the next steps regarding enrollment.
- Parents will be asked to complete online School registration forms.
- Payment of the $300 registration non-refundable school registration fee and completion of the enrollment form on FACTS reserves each student's spot for the upcoming school year.
Admissions
Enrollment in St. Margaret Mary School is open to members of St. Margaret Mary Parish and non-members. If a family is Catholic, they must be members of St. Margaret Mary Parish. If applications for Kindergarten exceed the maximum allowable size, priority for admission will be according to the following criteria:
• Siblings currently enrolled at SMM;
• Length of membership in St. Margaret Mary’s Parish;
• Stewardship in the Parish with the gifts of either Time, Talent, or Treasure;
• History in one's previous parish (if applicable); and
• More than one child to be considered for admission
