Altar Servers
"In my life I will praise the Lord; I will make music to my God while I live". (Psalm 146:2) St. Margaret Mary Parish relies on volunteers, who, through their musical talent, help bring about a prayerful celebration of the liturgies. The opportunities to be involved in music ministry are many and varied. Instrumentalists, particularly brass, woodwind and string players, are often needed. Singers may consider being part of the children's choir (3rd-8th grade), adult choir, small groups (8-12 members), quartets, trios, duets, or a solo cantor. If you are musically gifted in some way, please consider being part of the music ministry at your parish. Contact: Peg Lacy

KIDS Choir 2025-2026
KIDS stands for Kids Immersed in Diving Singing! All parish children in grades 3-8 are invited to join the Kids Choir! The choir will be scheduled to sing once (sometimes twice) a month throughout the academic year, at Christmas Mass, Easter Sunday, and special gatherings.
The KIDS choir will be scheduled for the 5:00 Mass on Christmas Eve. Please understand that in order to sing for that Mass, your child will have to have a reasonable amount of experience singing with the group -- along the lines of two or three Masses prior to Christmas. Thank you for your commitment to our music ministry!

Altar Servers participate in the Mass by assisting the celebrant. 6th graders - 8th graders in the 5 Day School and Religious Education Program are invited to do this ministry by becoming trained and agreeing to serve through 1st semester of 8th grade. They will be on Saturday/Sunday/Holy Day schedules and School Mass schedules. Contact: Alyssa Beasley

Hospitality Ministry is in service to the sacrifice of the Mass and to the people of God. SMM Hospitality Ministry combines the welcoming presence of the Greeter with the assistance and direction of the Usher.
We use the term ministry to emphasize the missional reality that people experience the presence of Jesus Christ in the world through the ministry of the Church. Christian hospitality draws people together, opens them to participation, and sets the tone for the liturgy. Our Hospitality Ministers offer a friendly presence to parishioners and guests while attending to individuals’ needs and the flow of the liturgy.
If you are interested in taking part in this liturgical ministry, please contact our hospitality ministers at [email protected]
