Groups & Organizations
Boy Scouts
There are several grade-level Boy Scout groups available for SMM students to join.
Meetings and activities meet monthly with leaders providing specific information in the Monday Memo. More information about the overall organization can be found on the boy scouts website http://www.scouting.org
Girl Scouts
Various grades have active Daisy/Brownie or Girl Scout troops that welcome all girls to participate. Meetings and activities are held monthly both on and off-campus.
Grade-level troop leaders (parent volunteers) provide meeting information communicated through the Monday Memo. More information about the overall organization can be found on the Girl Scout website.
Running Toward Christ
For all men of the parish interested in combining fitness and faith with the focus of continually “running” or moving towards Christ in everything we do.
The group meets every other Tuesday from 5:45 am to 6:45 am throughout the year with a retreat in the Spring. Time commitment is approximately 1 hour; members come and go as their schedule allows. Each session begins with a 2 mile outdoor run followed by coffee, scripture and reflection in the Suneg Center. The discussion/fellowship is very laid back and requires no preparation. All are involved at whatever level is comfortable. In inclement weather, exercise is basketball in the Raynor Center.
No cost to join. General age range is 25-45 at different levels of physical fitness.
To get started, contact Chad Doerneman or Nick Rock with your name and phone number.
Men's Club
A parish-wide community of sons, brothers, husbands and fathers, Men’s Club is a social and service group that can be called upon to simultaneously help the Parish and its parishioners in times of need while providing fellowship opportunities along the way. It is dedicated to men living out their Catholic faith and acting as the hands and feet of Christ.

The SMM Supper Club is a ministry whose mission is to build community within the parish. It is open to all adult parishioners, whether single, married, divorced, or widowed. Participants gather in groups of approximately ten people to share a potluck-style dinner in a parishioner’s home. Supper groups are assigned randomly for each separate dinner date.
Joining one or more Supper Club dinners is a great way to meet people and create connections in our parish community!
